How can we help?
For bugs, feature requests or general questions, open a support issue. Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version (shown at the bottom of the Profile tab) and the steps that caused the problem.
Open a support requestGitHub issues are public. Do not post passwords, payment details, private study material or personal account information.
Purchases & subscriptions
Quizaty Premium is available as a monthly or a yearly subscription. If a purchase is missing, use Profile → Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account. Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
Your account & data
To delete your account, sign in and go to Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes your account, decks, cards and study history. It does not cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel that first. To keep a copy of your decks, use Profile → Export my data before deleting.
What syncs to my account?
When you are signed in, your decks, cards (text, hints, notes and tags), folders, study progress and history, achievements and study preferences are backed up and kept in sync across your devices. Card images, scanned pages and imported documents stay on the device where you added them and are never uploaded. As a guest, everything stays on your device; create a free account from the Profile tab to back it up.
Can I change advertising choices?
Quizaty only requests non-personalised ads and does not ask for permission to track you. Where the law requires it, Google's consent message appears when you first open the app, and you can change your choice at any time in Profile → Ad privacy choices. Premium removes ads entirely.
How do I report a deck or block a creator?
Open any community deck and tap the flag icon (Report) to send it to a moderator with a reason. To stop seeing a creator's decks, tap Block creator; you can review and undo blocks in Profile → Blocked creators. You can also email us about any content or user that concerns you.
For private account help, deletion requests or content complaints, email h.qabazard99@gmail.com. Never send passwords or full payment details. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership.
Privacy policy
This policy explains what information the Quizaty app handles, why, and which companies process it for us. Quizaty is made by an independent developer who publishes this site through the GitHub account hqabazard99. Contact: h.qabazard99@gmail.com.
In short
- Quizaty does not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, and never asks for iOS tracking permission.
- Ads in the free version are non-personalised.
- Images, camera scans and imported documents stay on your device and are not uploaded.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it with data brokers.
- You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
Using Quizaty as a guest
You can study without an account. Your decks, cards, progress and settings are stored on your device. So that the app can load community decks, it signs in to Google Firebase Authentication with an anonymous guest session: a random identifier with no name or email attached. Guest study content is not uploaded. If you report a community deck as a guest, we store the report together with a key derived from that guest identifier, only to prevent repeated or abusive reports.
Accounts: Google Firebase Authentication
If you create an account, Google Firebase Authentication processes your email address, your name and username, and the IP address of sign-in requests (for security). With Sign in with Apple, it receives the identifier Apple gives Quizaty, plus the email address (which can be Apple's private relay address) and name if you choose to share them. With Google sign-in, where offered, it receives your Google account identifier, email address and name. Your password is handled by Firebase and is never stored in our database. Firebase also sends account emails such as password resets.
Your study data: Neon
For signed-in users, study data is stored in a Postgres database hosted by Neon in the European Union. This includes your account email address (copied from your sign-in so the account can be identified), your profile (username and display name), decks (titles, descriptions, subjects, tags and privacy setting), cards (text, hints, notes and tags), folders, study progress, review history, achievements and study preferences, so they can be backed up and synced across your devices. Community content is stored there too: decks you publish, ratings, decks you save or follow, and reports. Database access rules ensure each account can read only its own private data.
What stays on your device
Camera text recognition runs entirely on your device, and camera frames are not saved or sent anywhere. Images you add to cards, scanned pages and imported documents (such as PDFs) are kept only in the app's storage on your device; they are never uploaded to us or to any provider. Search history, reminders (scheduled locally, with no push token), read-aloud speech and temporary ad rewards also stay on the device.
Community decks
If you publish a deck, it is reviewed by a moderator before it appears in Discover, and it is then visible to anyone using Quizaty together with your display name or username as its creator. Unlisted decks can be opened by anyone who has the link. Keep personal or confidential information out of decks you publish or share. Searches in Discover are run against the database but are not stored.
Subscriptions: Apple and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store payments; we never receive your payment-card details. RevenueCat processes your purchase history, subscription status, an app user identifier (random for guests, your account identifier when signed in) and basic device and app information, so we can validate purchases, restore Premium on your devices and prevent fraud.
Advertising: Google AdMob
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you choose to watch. Quizaty only requests non-personalised ads, which are not based on your activity in other apps or on websites. To deliver them, Google processes device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and language), your IP address and approximate location derived from it, and ad interactions such as views and taps, for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention. Because Quizaty never asks for tracking permission, iOS does not make your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) available to the app or to Google. Where the law requires consent (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), Google's User Messaging Platform asks for it, and you can change your choice in Profile → Ad privacy choices. Premium removes ads.
Service providers
We use only the providers named above: Google Firebase, Neon, RevenueCat, Apple and Google AdMob. Each processes information only to provide the features described here and may do so in countries other than your own, including the United States. Quizaty does not use third-party analytics or data brokers.
Why we use your information
We use account and study data to provide the service you asked for (your account, backup, sync and Premium). We use sign-in, purchase and ad data for security, fraud prevention and to fund the free version with non-personalised ads, and we rely on your consent where the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
Data on your device stays until you delete it or remove the app. Account data stays until you delete your account. Delete it any time from Profile → Delete account: you confirm by typing DELETE and confirming your sign-in once more, and Quizaty then deletes your Firebase account and every database record linked to it (profile, decks, cards, folders, progress, published decks and ratings) and clears the account's data from the device. Copies of your public decks that other learners already saved as their own remain in their libraries. Provider backups are overwritten after a limited period, and Apple and RevenueCat keep purchase records where the law requires. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription, and removing the app does not delete your account. If you cannot open the app, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
Your choices and rights
You can use Quizaty without an account, allow or deny camera and photo access, choose whether to publish decks, change ad consent where offered, export your decks as a CSV file (Profile → Export my data) and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your information or to object to its use. Email h.qabazard99@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
Information travels between the app and our providers over encrypted connections, and the database only accepts requests carrying a valid sign-in token.
Children
Quizaty is a general-audience study app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Terms & subscriptions
By downloading or using Quizaty you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement described below.
Using Quizaty
Quizaty provides tools for studying material you create or choose. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of that material. Study results are not a guarantee of exam performance.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
Your content
You keep ownership of your content. Only add or publish material you have the right to use. When you publish a deck or share an unlisted link, you allow Quizaty to host, display and distribute that deck to other users in the app and through share links until you make it private or delete it. Other learners may save their own copies while it is public.
Community content: zero tolerance
Quizaty has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not publish, share or report in bad faith any content that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful or discriminatory, or attacks people based on who they are;
- is sexually explicit, or sexualises minors in any way;
- shows or encourages violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
- is spam, a scam, misleading, or impersonates someone else;
- infringes copyright or other rights, or exposes anyone's private personal information.
Review before publishing. Every deck made public is reviewed by a moderator before it appears in Discover, and editing a published deck sends it back for review.
Reporting. Tap the flag icon (Report) on any community deck to flag it to a moderator, or email h.qabazard99@gmail.com. We review reports within 24 hours.
Blocking. Tap Block creator on a deck to hide that creator's decks from Discover and from search on this device. Manage your blocks in Profile → Blocked creators.
Removal. We remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or permanently close the accounts of users who post it or who abuse others, without prior notice. We may also remove any community content at our discretion.
Premium subscriptions
Quizaty Premium is offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions; there is no lifetime option. Premium removes ads and unlocks the features listed on the purchase screen. The price, billing period and any free trial or introductory offer are shown in the app and in Apple's purchase confirmation before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
Backups and availability
Signed-in accounts back up decks, cards, folders and study progress. Card images, scanned pages and imported documents are stored only on your device, so deleting the app or your account can remove them permanently. Export important decks from Profile → Export my data. Features may change over time, and the service is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
App license
Your use of the iOS app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA); these terms add the Quizaty-specific rules above. Nothing on this page limits rights that applicable consumer law gives you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Quizaty changes and will update the date at the top of this section when we do.
