By using RAWD ("the app") you agree to these terms. The app is provided by RAWD.

1. Religious content

We take the integrity of the religious content seriously.

• The Quran text is the Uthmani (Hafs) text sourced from the Tanzil Project and verified against a second independent source before shipping.
• Athkar and supplications are taken from Hisn al-Muslim by Sa'id b. Ali b. Wahf al-Qahtani, with their sources shown in the app.
• Translations are provided for understanding only and are not a substitute for the Arabic.
• Where a verified translation is unavailable, the app shows the Arabic alone and says so, rather than supplying an unverified one.

Full provenance for every dataset is listed in the app under Settings → Content sources. If you believe any content is inaccurate, please tell us and we will correct it.

2. Prayer times and Qibla are calculated, not authoritative

Prayer times and the Qibla direction are calculated estimates, produced from your location using established astronomical methods and the calculation method you select.

They may differ from your local mosque or authority for legitimate reasons: different calculation conventions, different opinions on the Asr time, local adjustments, or the accuracy of your device's location and compass. The app lets you choose your calculation method and adjust each prayer individually so you can match your local authority.

We provide these calculations in good faith but cannot guarantee they are correct for every location and circumstance.

3. RAWD Premium

RAWD is free to use. RAWD Premium is an optional subscription that removes advertising and adds optional conveniences.

• The Quran, prayer times, the Qibla, Athkar and supplications are free for everyone, always. Premium never restricts religious content.
• Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies, not by us.

4. Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes it and all data synced to it.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or redistribute the app's bundled content outside the terms of the licences listed under Settings → Content sources.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The core of the app — the Quran, Athkar, supplications, prayer times and the Qibla — is designed to work with no internet connection at all.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes and the date above will be updated.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kuwait.
